sybil hanging in a jar.When we first met there was rain all around, one of those sweltering summer storms where the cloud’s are pregnant and grey with rain, having spent hours groaning under their own weight, and the sun never really rises or sets. Release comes like rage in the sheets of rain and bigbright lights and low wind whipping harsh. I stood outside watching the patterns rain make like those psychedelic posters, like how when your eyes move over them the pictures seem to move and quiver and undulate under your flickering gaze creating the illusion of movement when there is really just stillness and oh, where heat and rain and pavement touch the air rasybil hanging in a jar.
